Take 5 to Relax and Reset

As you’re reading this, notice whether you feel stressed. The answer may be a clear yes. But even if your mind says no, it’s worth checking in with your body. Sometimes, we don’t think we’re stressed but our body says otherwise.

Oftentimes, we are experiencing a low-level of stress all day long, which means that cortisol and adrenaline are coursing through our systems and we don’t even know it. We become so used to it, we don’t register it as stress - it just starts to feel normal.

And that’s why you have to reset.

When you take breaks to reset your nervous system, you calm down and  broaden your perspective so you can get back to your true north.

From there, you’re able to listen to your body, mind and brain and respond to what’s needed.

Take just six minutes and let me walk you through this “Take 5” exercise. You’ll be glad you did.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me. I’d love to hear from you.

Wishing you less stress and more peace today.
