At its core this course explores how to decrease the suffering caused by chronic pain through the lens of mindfulness, physical therapy, and yoga.
In each of the four, 90 minute classes, we'll explore these concepts through lecture, movement practices, guided meditations, and discussion.
This will be an experiential course; the purpose is to apply knowledge and concepts to functional movement.
We'll have space for reflection, questions, and discussion.
The classes will be supported by four online modules that catalogue lab activities from the course, so you can keep practicing concepts independently, and use them for future reference.
~Thich Nhat Hanh
This course will teach you practices you can utilize throughout your life.
Taking the time to step back and re-evaluate your relationship with chronic pain is an act of curiosity and compassion, which will strengthen an inner tone of warmth and friendliness.
Give yourself the gift of “long-standing change” and join us.
