Finding Safety in the Present: Eliminating Time

  • Webinar

Breathwork — Yoga — Guided Meditation — Neuroscience

You're Invited

Join us for a nurturing, interactive, and engaging workshop designed to lead you through practices to root you in the present and cultivate a felt sense of safety. You’ll leave feeling nurtured, connected, and resilient, ready to live your life to the fullest.

Our intention for this workshop is to use both ancient and modern wisdom, practices, and neuroscience to firmly establish a lasting sense of safety and wellbeing in your body, mind, and spirit.

This workshop will be conducted from the comfort and safety of your own home via Zoom and will be recorded so you can either join live, watch the replay or both.

Throughout this workshop we will be working with the nervous system whose job it is to keep us safe. While your nervous system may have your best interest in mind, it often drives you to worry about past and future events. This can generate fear and hypervigilance, making you feel needlessly anxious or afraid. Together we’ll explore practices and skills to calm the nervous system by rooting into the present.

You'll Experience:

  • Guided check in to assess your current state
  • Pranayama (Breathwork) to balance, ground, and calm the nervous system
  • All-levels, gentle yoga poses
  • Centering and grounding meditations to root in the present
  • Discussion and information on the science of the brain including how to decrease fear and anxiety and increase safety and presence.

You’ll Receive

  • 2 hours of guidance from 2 expert teachers
  • Recording of the event to keep for future use
  • Separate Yoga Nidra recording to continue your practice
  • PDF of resources including breathing practices, meditations, and helpful links

You’ll leave this workshop feeling resourced in the present moment, calm in spirit, and ready to face your every-day life with resiliency, peace, and courage.

Who are Scott and Rachel?

Scott Moore

Hi, I’m Scott Moore and I believe that yoga and meditation are about truly understanding ourselves, our connection to others, and the Universe we live in. I’ve been teaching these illuminating practices for 20 years and my deep desire is to help you shape yourself into the best version of yourself by offering practices that help you feel alive, healthy, and finding joy in life.

One of my great passions is Yoga Nidra, a profound form of deeply relaxing and illuminating guided meditation.

I was a professor at Westminster College for 9 years teaching Yoga for Wellness and I also created programming and curriculum for many hospitals and treatment facilities. I run a registered school of yoga and am a continuing education provider for Yoga Alliance. I love teaching teaches classes, trainings, and retreats in the US, Europe, and Asia and I’m currently living in Southern France.

Rachel Posner

I’m Rachel Posner, yoga therapist and mindfulness coach. I specialize in helping students decrease fear and anxiety and increase self-compassion and life satisfaction. I work at the intersection of mindfulness, neuroscience and psychology, bridging western science with eastern philosophy and practice, creating a unique body, mind and brain approach to wellness.

My 20+ years of experience and training include an MA in counseling, yoga instruction (E-RYT 500), yoga therapy (C-IAYT) and soul-oriented nature guiding. I’ve created an integrative blend of evidence-based mindfulness practices that will rewire your brain to handle stress more effectively while growing states of calm, presence and optimism.

I love witnessing the “aha” moments that happen when students explore the mind-body connection, drawing insights from their own inner knowing. I facilitate these moments through mindfulness courses, yoga therapy and instruction and retreats.
